AVC offers its staff, faculty and students access to Google Apps for Edu (Google’s award-winning application suite for educational institutions). All the applications of the suite can be accessed using the AVC account provided to each student. The applications in the suite include:
Gmail

Students must frequently check their college email account for important updates by staff and faculty.

Students can use Google Docs for creating, storing, editing and sharing documents, presentations, spreadsheets and drawings. Microsoft Office, OpenOffice and many other major formats are supported.
Calendar

Students are encouraged to use Google Calendar to plan, organize and keep track of important events including assignment, test and exam deadlines.
Sites

Students can make their own public or private sites for academic purposes such as projects, online notes archives, group studies as well as extra-curricular activities. The use of this service for any activities unrelated to AVC is strictly prohibited.
Moderator
Moderator allows students to take part in online discussions and Q&A sessions with the college staff and faculty as well as amongst themselves, related to academic matters.
